and 1350 degrees Celsius (2192 to 2460 Fahrenheit). These extreme temperatures effectively remove excess moisture, extract all residual hydrocarbons, and
transform the crystalline structure of the coke. This results in a denser, more electrically conductive product. In just a few hours,
the calcined petroleum coke is rapidly cooled from 1350 degrees Celsius to below 200 degrees Celsius, making it safe to handle and
ready for transport to storage silos or direct shipment via containers, trucks, railcars, barges, or vessels.
