Calcium Base Grease This is crafted from mineral lubricating oil with a medium viscosity, which is expertly thickened by natural fatty acid calcium soap. The synthesis of calcium base grease offers unique advantages.
It features a mineral lubricating oil with medium viscosity, enhanced with synthetic fatty acid calcium soap ensuring top-notch performance.
Performance Characteristics
(1) Due to the interaction between calcium soap and water to form hydrates, only as hydrates can calcium soap achieve a highly dispersed fibrous state in mineral oil. The hydrolysis of calcium soap hydrates occurs around 100 ºC, explaining why calcium base grease loses consistency beyond 100 ºC, restricting its temperature range. Typically, it functions well up to 60 ºC. Exceeding this temperature causes the grease to soften or even lose, compromising lubrication.
(2) With excellent water resistance, calcium base grease resists emulsification and remains stable in watery conditions. Ideal for lubricating mechanical parts operating in wet environments or in direct contact with water.
(3) Demonstrating remarkable shearing stability and thixotropic stability, calcium base grease maintains its place on working surfaces even when agitated, providing a sealing effect without splattering.
(4) Boasting superior pumping capabilities due to its short fiber structure and low strength limit, calcium base grease is easier to handle than other soap-based variants like sodium-based or aluminum-based greases when matched for the same mineral oil and consistency.
Thanks to its formulation, calcium-based grease is user-friendly and binds more effectively than alternative soap-based greases.
Despite its origins in the 1930s, calcium-based grease remains a globally favored choice today. We are a professional grease manufacturer with 30 years of industry experience. Our factory is located in Puyang City, Henan Province.
2. What is the L/T?
The lead time will be roughly 10 days after deposit payment if you place an order of one container once.
3. What is your terms of payment?
Based on our sales policy, L/C or T/T 30% as deposit should be paid before order, and 70% balance payment should be completed before shipment. We can provide you with real photos or video of the goods before balance payment.
4. What is your terms of delivery?
It will be available in EXW, FOB, CFR or CIF.
5. What is the packaging for the grease?
Generally, packed with barrel, PE bag, can, spring tube or drum in different size, that depends on your final requirement.
6. Can I get some samples from your side?
We can provide free samples, the freight cost will be born by you.
7. Is it possible to do ODM or OEM for us?
We would like to do so. Let us know your definite requirements including grease color and dropping point etc. If necessary, provide us with your samples, that will be helpful for us to do test.
