Calcined Petroleum Coke
Our Calcined Petroleum Coke is meticulously produced by subjecting high-quality raw 'green' petroleum coke to the transformative heat of rotary kilns. These kilns operate at temperatures ranging from 1200
to 1350 degrees Celsius (2192 to 2460 degrees Fahrenheit). This extreme heat efficiently removes excess moisture, extracts all residual hydrocarbons, and
alters the crystalline structure of the coke. The result is a denser, more electrically conductive product. Within hours,
the calcined petroleum coke is rapidly cooled from 1350 degrees Celsius to below 200 degrees Celsius, making it safe to handle and
ready for transport. It can be stored in silos or directly loaded into shipping containers, trucks, railcars, barges, or vessels.
----The primary applications of calcined petroleum coke include prebaked anodes and anode pastes for electrolytic aluminum, carbonizers for the carbon industry, graphite electrodes, smelting industrial silicon, and fuel sources.

Carburant is used to elevate the carbon content in molten iron, commonly used in smelting furnace charges like pig iron, scrap steel, and returns. Although pig iron has high carbon content, it is relatively expensive. By adding more scrap and reducing pig iron, the addition of a carbon agent can effectively reduce casting costs.
