Our Versatile Calcined Petroleum Coke is meticulously crafted from high-quality raw 'green' petroleum coke. This premium material undergoes a transformation in rotary kilns, where it is subjected to intense heat ranging between 1200
to 1350 degrees Celsius (2192 to 2460 Fahrenheit). These extraordinary temperatures effectively eliminate excess moisture, purge remaining hydrocarbons, and
alter the crystalline structure of the coke. The result is a denser, more electrically conductive product. Within a matter of hours,
the calcined petroleum coke is carefully cooled from 1350 degrees Celsius to below 200 degrees Celsius, making it safe for handling and
ready for transportation. It can be efficiently stored in silos or shipped directly via containers, trucks, railcars, barges, or vessels.
----The principal applications of calcined petroleum coke include prebaked anodes and anode pastes for use in electrolytic aluminum, carbonizers for the carbon industry, graphite electrodes, smelting industrial silicon, and as a fuel source.
