Crafted from premium quality raw 'green' petroleum coke, our Calcined Petroleum Coke undergoes a meticulous process in rotary kilns, where it is exposed to high temperatures ranging from 1200
to 1350 degrees Celsius (2192 to 2460 Fahrenheit). This intense heat treatment eliminates excess moisture, extracts all residual hydrocarbons, and
transforms the crystalline structure of the coke, culminating in a denser, more electrically conductive product. Within a few hours,
the calcined petroleum coke is rapidly cooled from 1350 degrees Celsius to below 200 degrees Celsius, ensuring it can be safely handled and
transported with ease. It is then ready for storage in silos or direct shipment via containers, trucks, railcars, barges, or vessels.
----The primary applications of calcined petroleum coke include its use in prebaked anodes and anode pastes for electrolytic aluminum, as well as carbonizers for the carbon industry, graphite electrodes, industrial silicon smelting, and fuels.
