Calcined Petroleum Coke
Crafted through a meticulous process, our Calcined Petroleum Coke is produced by placing premium-quality raw 'green' petroleum coke into state-of-the-art rotary kilns. These kilns are heated to an impressive range of 1200
to 1350 degrees C (2192 to 2460 F). Such high temperatures effectively eliminate excess moisture, extract remaining hydrocarbons, and
restructure the crystalline form of the coke. This intense process results in a denser, highly electrically conductive product, achieved in just a matter of hours.
After reaching 1350 degrees C, the calcined petroleum coke is rapidly cooled to below 200 degrees C, making it safe for handling and
transportation. From here, it can be efficiently transferred to storage silos or loaded directly into shipping containers, trucks, railcars, barges, or vessels.
----The primary applications of calcined petroleum coke include its use in prebaked anodes and anode pastes for electrolytic aluminum production, carbonizers in the carbon industry, graphite electrodes, industrial silicon smelting, and as a fuel source.
