Calcium Base Grease Crafted from mineral lubricating oil with medium viscosity, this grease is thickened using natural fatty acid calcium soap – a tried and tested synthesis of calcium base grease.
This premium grease is engineered from mineral lubricating oil with medium viscosity, expertly thickened by synthetic fatty acid calcium soap for superior performance.
Performance Characteristics
(1) Calcium soap forms hydrates with water, which is pivotal in enabling the soap to create highly dispersed fibers within the mineral oil. However, these hydrates begin to hydrolyze at around 100 ºC, rendering calcium base grease less consistent at higher temperatures, with an optimal range not exceeding 60 ºC. Surpassing this threshold results in the grease becoming soft, which may compromise its lubricating capabilities.
(2) Boasting excellent water resistance, calcium base grease is remarkably resilient against emulsification and degradation. This makes it ideal for lubricating mechanical components exposed to wet conditions or direct water contact.
(3) Exhibiting impressive shearing stability and thixotropic properties, calcium base grease continues to adhere to the operational surface even after agitation, ensuring a consistent sealing effect without flinging off.
(4) With its short fiber and minimal strength limit, calcium base grease demonstrates outstanding pumping performance. It offers superior binding compared to other soap-based greases such as sodium-based or aluminum-based when the same mineral oil and consistency are used.
Thanks to its ease of binding, calcium-based grease remains a preferred choice over other soap-based greases, ensuring effective lubrication.
Despite its origins in the 1930s, calcium-based grease continues to be a staple globally, widely employed in the lubrication of rolling and sliding bearings operating at medium speeds and loads, particularly in small to medium-sized motors, water pumps, tractors, automobiles, and industries like metallurgy and textile machinery.

1. Are you a trading company or manufacturer?
We are a professional grease manufacturer with 30 years of industry experience. Our factory is located in Puyang City, Henan Province.
2. What is the L/T?
The lead time will be roughly 10 days after deposit payment if you place an order of one container once.
3. What is your terms of payment?
Based on our sales policy, L/C or T/T 30% as deposit should be paid before order, and 70% balance payment should be completed before shipment. We can provide you with real photos or video of the goods before balance payment.
4. What is your terms of delivery?
It will be available in EXW, FOB, CFR or CIF.
5. What is the packaging for the grease?
Generally, packed with barrel, PE bag, can, spring tube or drum in different size, that depends on your final requirement.
6. Can I get some samples from your side?
We can provide free samples, the freight cost will be born by you.
7. Is it possible to do ODM or OEM for us?
