The production process involves a precise blend of coking coal and fertilizer coal, followed by high-temperature retorting in state-of-the-art large coke ovens. These ovens boast carbonization chamber heights exceeding 6.0m and volumes surpassing 38.5m3, ensuring superior product quality. Predominantly utilized in the metallurgical sector, our coke is essential for blast furnace ironmaking and casting applications.

The main purpose of coke:

1. As the cornerstone of coking products, over 90% of coke globally is dedicated to blast furnace ironmaking, revolutionizing iron smelting by replacing charcoal. This innovation has significantly advanced large-scale blast furnace operations, marking a pivotal milestone in metallurgical history.

2. Our coke is indispensable in the casting process and in smelting non-ferrous metals such as copper, lead, zinc, titanium, and antimony. It serves as a reducing agent, heat source, and structural skeleton within blast furnaces.

3. In the smelting industry, a minor portion of our coke is utilized for producing calcium carbide, carbon disulfide, phosphorus, and other elements. Additionally, in steel joint ventures, coke powder is employed as sintered fuel. Beyond this, our coke acts as a raw material for synthesizing water gas, integral to various industrial processes.

4. To optimize the technical and economic efficiency of blast furnace operations, our metallurgical coke (smelting coke) is engineered with precise chemical and physical properties, including thermal attributes crucial to the smelting process.

5. Beyond its extensive use in iron and non-ferrous metal smelting, our coke is versatile, serving industries such as casting, chemical production, calcium carbide manufacture, and ferroalloy production.
