Calcined Petroleum Coke
Crafted through a sophisticated process, our calcined petroleum coke begins its journey as premium raw 'green' petroleum coke. It is carefully placed into advanced rotary kilns, reaching temperatures of 1200
to 1350 degrees C (2192 to 2460 F). These intense temperatures meticulously remove excess moisture, eliminating all remaining hydrocarbons and
transforming the crystalline structure of the coke. This process culminates in a denser, more electrically conductive product, completed within mere hours.
Once the calcination process is perfected, the petroleum coke is rapidly cooled from 1350 degrees C to a safe handling temperature below 200 degrees C,
allowing for secure transportation. It can then be efficiently stored in silos or loaded directly into shipping containers, trucks, railcars, barges, or vessels.
