Calcium Base Grease This exceptional lubricant is crafted from mineral lubricating oil, with a medium viscosity enhanced through thickening by natural fatty acid calcium soap. The synthesis process of calcium base grease ensures superior performance.
A blend of mineral lubricating oil with medium viscosity, expertly thickened by synthetic fatty acid calcium soap, forms the foundation of our top-grade grease.
Performance Characteristics
(1) The unique ability of calcium soap to form hydrates with water allows for the development of highly dispersed fibers in mineral oil. This hydration process, however, leads to hydrolyzation at approximately 100 ºC, causing a gradual loss of consistency beyond this temperature threshold. Consequently, the effective temperature range is generally capped at 60 ºC to maintain optimal lubrication and avoid softening or loss of grease.
(2) Renowned for its excellent water resistance, calcium base grease doesn't easily emulsify or deteriorate when exposed to moisture. This makes it ideal for lubricating mechanical components operating in wet or water-contact environments.
(3) Exhibiting impressive shearing stability and thixotropy stability, this grease maintains its consistency even after agitation. Once settled, it continues to adhere to surfaces, providing a sealing effect without being expelled.
(4) The grease is engineered for superior pumping performance, attributed to its short fibers and low strength limit. Its consistency ensures easy binding compared to other soap-based greases like sodium or aluminum-based types.
When maintaining the same consistency, calcium-based grease offers greater ease of binding than its sodium or aluminum-based counterparts.
Despite its origins dating back to the 1930s, calcium-based grease remains a globally preferred choice for lubricating rolling and sliding bearings. It is especially effective in small to medium-sized motors, water pumps, tractors, automobiles, as well as in industries like metallurgy and textile machinery.

1. Are you a trading company or manufacturer?
We are a professional grease manufacturer with 30 years of industry experience. Our factory is located in Puyang City, Henan Province.
2. What is the L/T?
The lead time will be roughly 10 days after deposit payment if you place an order of one container once.
3. What is your terms of payment?
Based on our sales policy, L/C or T/T 30% as deposit should be paid before order, and 70% balance payment should be completed before shipment. We can provide you with real photos or video of the goods before balance payment.
4. What is your terms of delivery?
It will be available in EXW, FOB, CFR or CIF.
5. What is the packaging for the grease?
Generally, packed with barrel, PE bag, can, spring tube or drum in different size, that depends on your final requirement.
6. Can I get some samples from your side?
We can provide free samples, the freight cost will be born by you.
7. Is it possible to do ODM or OEM for us?
We would like to do so. Let us know your definite requirements including grease color and dropping point etc. If necessary, provide us with your samples, that will be helpful for us to do test.
