Calcined Petroleum Coke
It is expertly crafted by placing premium-grade raw 'green' petroleum coke into advanced rotary kilns, where they are subjected to intense heat ranging from 1200
to 1350 degrees C (2192 to 2460 F). This high-temperature process effectively eliminates excess moisture, extracts all remaining hydrocarbons, and
transforms the crystalline structure of the coke, yielding a denser and more electrically conductive material. Within a few hours,
calcined petroleum coke is cooled from 1350 degrees C to below 200 degrees C, rendering it safe for handling and
ready for transport to storage silos or direct dispatch into shipping containers, trucks, railcars, barges, or vessels.
----The principal applications of calcined petroleum coke are in prebaked anodes and anode pastes for electrolytic aluminum, carbonizers for the carbon industry, graphite electrodes, industrial silicon smelting, and as an efficient fuel source.
