to 1350 degrees C (2192 to 2460 F). At such soaring temperatures, moisture is effectively eradicated, residual hydrocarbons are thoroughly extracted, and
the crystalline structure undergoes a remarkable transformation. This process yields a denser product with significantly enhanced electrical conductivity, all accomplished in a matter of hours.
Once the calcination is complete, the petroleum coke swiftly cools down from 1350 degrees C to a manageable and safe temperature of below 200 degrees C. It can then be seamlessly handled and
transported to storage silos or directly loaded into shipping containers, trucks, railcars, barges, or vessels, ensuring efficient logistics.
