3. In the smelting industry, coke is used in limited quantities for producing calcium carbide, carbon disulfide, phosphorus, and other chemical elements. Additionally, in steel joint ventures, coke powder is employed as sintered fuel. Coke also serves as a raw material for generating water gas, which is essential for various synthesis processes.
