Introduction:
Calcium base grease is an innovation that combines medium viscosity mineral lubricating oil with the enriching power of natural fatty acid calcium soap. This synthesis creates a product
that boasts a composition of mineral lubricating oil, enhanced with medium viscosity and fortified by synthetic fatty acid calcium soap.
Performance characteristics
(1) The unique interaction between calcium soap and water leads to the formation of hydrates, which are essential for the dispersion of fibers within mineral oil. However, these hydrates begin to break down around 100 ºC, which results in the loss of consistency in the grease above this temperature, limiting its effective range to generally less than 60 ºC. Surpassing this threshold may cause the grease to soften or even dissipate, compromising lubrication.
(2) Renowned for its water resistance, calcium base grease remains stable without emulsification or degradation upon contact with water. It is ideal for lubricating mechanical parts operating in damp environments or in direct contact with water.
(3) With exceptional shearing stability and thixotropy, calcium base grease maintains its presence on surfaces even after agitation. It ensures a sealing effect, preventing the grease from being displaced.
(4) The excellent pumping performance of calcium base grease is attributed to its short fibers and low strength limit, making it an optimal choice for applications requiring minimized binding effort.
Given the same consistency and mineral oil, calcium-based grease binds more easily compared to alternatives like sodium-based or aluminum-based greases.
Despite its origins in the 1930s, calcium-based grease remains a staple lubricant globally. It is widely used for lubricating rolling and sliding bearings in small to medium-sized motors, water pumps, tractors, automobiles, and machinery in sectors like metallurgy and textiles.

1. Are you a trading company or manufacturer?
We are a professional grease manufacturer with 30 years of industry experience. Our factory is located in Puyang City, Henan Province.
2. What is the L/T?
The lead time will be roughly 10 days after deposit payment if you place an order of one container once.
3. What is your terms of payment?
Based on our sales policy, L/C or T/T 30% as deposit should be paid before order, and 70% balance payment should be completed before shipment. We can provide you with real photos or video of the goods before balance payment.
4. What is your terms of delivery?
It will be available in EXW, FOB, CFR or CIF.
5. What is the packaging for the grease?
Generally, packed with barrel, PE bag, can, spring tube or drum in different size, that depends on your final requirement.
6. Can I get some samples from your side?
We can provide free samples, the freight cost will be born by you.
7. Is it possible to do ODM or OEM for us?
We would like to do so. Let us know your definite requirements including grease color and dropping point etc. If necessary, provide us with your samples, that will be helpful for us to do test.
