Employing mineral lubricating oil of medium viscosity, this grease is expertly thickened by synthetic fatty acid calcium soap.
Performance characteristics
(1) Thanks to the unique properties of calcium soap, which forms hydrates with water, it creates highly dispersed fibers in mineral oil only as hydrates. However, these hydrates begin to hydrolyze around 100 ºC. This hydrolysis causes calcium base grease to lose consistency at temperatures above 100 ºC, thus limiting its operational temperature range. It is generally recommended to use it below 60 ºC. Surpassing this temperature can lead to the grease becoming soft or degraded, jeopardizing lubrication.
(2) Renowned for its impressive water resistance, calcium base grease is resilient against emulsification or degradation when exposed to water. This makes it ideal for lubricating various mechanical components in wet environments or where contact with water is frequent.
(3) With remarkable shearing stability and thixotropic properties, calcium base grease maintains its position on active surfaces even after agitation, effectively sealing and minimizing throw-out.
(4) Its excellent pumping performance is owed to the short fiber structure and low strength limit, allowing efficient flow. When paired with identical mineral oil and
achieving consistent viscosity, calcium-based grease demonstrates superior binding capabilities compared to other soap-based greases, such as sodium-based or aluminum-based varieties.
Despite its heritage dating back to the 1930s, calcium-based grease remains a widely utilized lubricant globally. It serves efficiently for rolling and sliding bearings in applications involving medium speed and load, such as small to medium-sized motors, water pumps, tractors, automobiles, metallurgy, and textile machinery.

1. Are you a trading company or manufacturer?
We are a professional grease manufacturer with 30 years of industry experience. Our factory is located in Puyang City, Henan Province.
2. What is the L/T?
The lead time will be roughly 10 days after deposit payment if you place an order of one container once.
3. What is your terms of payment?
Based on our sales policy, L/C or T/T 30% as deposit should be paid before order, and 70% balance payment should be completed before shipment. We can provide you with real photos or video of the goods before balance payment.
4. What is your terms of delivery?
It will be available in EXW, FOB, CFR or CIF.
5. What is the packaging for the grease?
Generally, packed with barrel, PE bag, can, spring tube or drum in different size, that depends on your final requirement.
6. Can I get some samples from your side?
We can provide free samples, the freight cost will be born by you.
7. Is it possible to do ODM or OEM for us?
We would like to do so. Let us know your definite requirements including grease color and dropping point etc. If necessary, provide us with your samples, that will be helpful for us to do test.
