Calcium Base Grease This premium product is crafted with mineral lubricating oil of medium viscosity, thickened by natural fatty acid calcium soap. Calcium base grease is synthesized to offer optimal performance.
Our calcium base grease is meticulously formulated using mineral lubricating oil with medium viscosity, enhanced with synthetic fatty acid calcium soap for superior quality.
Performance Characteristics
(1) Due to the unique formation of hydrates between calcium soap and water, calcium soap can create highly dispersed fibers in mineral oil only when in hydrate form. These hydrates begin to hydrolyze at approximately 100 ºC, which explains the gradual loss of consistency in calcium base grease above this temperature threshold. As a result, the maximum recommended temperature is 60 ºC. Surpassing this can lead to a softening or complete loss of grease, jeopardizing lubrication.
(2) The calcium base grease boasts excellent water resistance, maintaining its integrity without emulsification when exposed to water. This makes it ideal for lubricating various mechanical components operating in moist environments or in direct contact with water.
(3) It exhibits remarkable shearing stability and thixotropy stability. Even after agitation, it remains on the active surface, providing a sealing effect without being displaced, ensuring consistent performance.
(4) With its short fiber and low strength limit, calcium base grease excels in pumping performance. When the same mineral oil and
consistency is used, it binds more easily compared to other soap-based greases like sodium-based or aluminum-based options.
Despite being a vintage variety from the 1930s, calcium-based grease continues to be a globally preferred choice. It is perfect for lubricating rolling and sliding bearings with medium speed and load in applications such as small and medium-sized motors, water pumps, tractors, automobiles, metallurgy, and textile machinery.

1. Are you a trading company or manufacturer?
We are a professional grease manufacturer with 30 years of industry experience. Our factory is located in Puyang City, Henan Province.
2. What is the L/T?
The lead time will be roughly 10 days after deposit payment if you place an order of one container once.
3. What is your terms of payment?
Based on our sales policy, L/C or T/T 30% as deposit should be paid before order, and 70% balance payment should be completed before shipment. We can provide you with real photos or video of the goods before balance payment.
4. What is your terms of delivery?
It will be available in EXW, FOB, CFR or CIF.
5. What is the packaging for the grease?
Generally, packed with barrel, PE bag, can, spring tube or drum in different size, that depends on your final requirement.
6. Can I get some samples from your side?
We can provide free samples, the freight cost will be born by you.
7. Is it possible to do ODM or OEM for us?
We would like to do so. Let us know your definite requirements including grease color and dropping point etc. If necessary, provide us with your samples, that will be helpful for us to do test.
