Primarily, coke products are indispensable in the metallurgical sector, particularly in industries such as blast furnace ironmaking and casting.

The Main Purpose of Coke:

1. As the pinnacle product of coking, more than 90% of coke caters to blast furnace ironmaking worldwide, supplanting charcoal in iron smelting. This transition underpins the modernization of large blast furnaces, marking a pivotal moment in the history of metallurgy.

2. Essential in the smelting of non-ferrous metals like copper, lead, zinc, titanium, and antimony, coke serves multifaceted roles: as a reducing agent, a heat agent, and a structural column skeleton.
