CPCCalcined Petroleum Coke This exceptional product is crafted by processing superior-grade raw 'green' petroleum coke in rotary kilns, subjected to high temperatures.
These temperatures range between 1200 to 1350 degrees Celsius (2192 to 2460 degrees Fahrenheit).
Such extreme heat effectively eliminates excess moisture, eradicates any remaining hydrocarbons, and transforms the crystalline structure of the coke. The outcome is a denser, more electrically conductive material. After hours of controlled heating, the calcined coke is rapidly cooled from 1350 degrees Celsius to below 200 degrees Celsius, making it safe for handling and ready for storage or direct shipment via various transport modes including containers, trucks, railcars, barges, or vessels.
