to 1350 degrees Celsius (2192 to 2460 degrees Fahrenheit). These extreme temperatures are essential for removing excess moisture, extracting all remaining hydrocarbons, and
refining the crystalline structure of the coke, ultimately yielding a denser and more electrically conductive product. In just a few hours,
the calcined petroleum coke is cooled rapidly from 1350 degrees Celsius to below 200 degrees Celsius, making it safe for handling and
transportation. It can then be seamlessly transferred to storage silos or shipped directly via containers, trucks, railcars, barges, or vessels.
----The predominant applications of calcined petroleum coke include prebaked anodes and anode pastes for electrolytic aluminum, carbonizers for the carbon industry, graphite electrodes, smelting industrial silicon, and as a fuel source.
