CPCCalcined Petroleum Coke Crafted with precision, our Calcined Petroleum Coke is manufactured from high-quality raw 'green' petroleum coke placed into rotary kilns for optimal processing.
These kilns heat the material to temperatures ranging between 1200 to 1350 degrees Celsius (2192 to 2460 degrees Fahrenheit).
This high-temperature process effectively removes excess moisture, extracts all remaining hydrocarbons, and enhances the crystalline structure of the coke. The result is a denser, more electrically conductive product. Within hours, the calcined petroleum coke is cooled from 1350 degrees Celsius to below 200 degrees Celsius, making it safe for handling and transportation to storage silos or direct shipment via containers, trucks, railcars, barges, or vessels.
