This resilient carbon block, having undergone rigorous roasting, maintains a stable geometric shape, thus earning its designation as a pre-baked anode carbon block, also recognized as a carbon anode for aluminum electrolysis.
Integral to the production of electrolytic aluminum, the pre-baked anode is indispensable, as each ton of electrolytic aluminum produced requires approximately 0.5 tons of this material. Not only does it function as the conductive anode of the electrolytic cell, but it also plays a crucial role in the electrochemical reaction, affectionately known as the 'Heart' of the pre-baked aluminum electrolytic cell. Its quality profoundly influences the economic efficiency of aluminum production, rendering it an essential bulk material in contemporary aluminum smelting processes.
