Our Calcined Petroleum Coke is meticulously crafted by heating premium raw 'green' petroleum coke in rotary kilns, where temperatures range from 1200
to 1350 degrees Celsius (2192 to 2460 degrees Fahrenheit). At these elevated temperatures, the material undergoes a transformative process that eliminates excess moisture, extracts all remaining hydrocarbons, and
alters the crystalline structure, resulting in a denser and significantly more electrically conductive product. Within just a few hours,
the calcined petroleum coke is cooled from its peak of 1350 degrees Celsius to a manageable 200 degrees Celsius or below, making it safe for handling and
transportation. It is then moved to storage silos or directly loaded into shipping containers, trucks, railcars, barges, or vessels for distribution.
----The primary applications of calcined petroleum coke include its use in prebaked anodes and anode pastes for electrolytic aluminum, as carbonizers in the carbon industry, in the manufacturing of graphite electrodes, for smelting industrial silicon, and as a fuel source.
