Introduction:
Calcium base grease is crafted from medium-viscosity mineral lubricating oil, enriched with natural fatty acid calcium soap, leading to the creation of calcium base grease.
This premium grease is formulated using mineral lubricating oil of medium viscosity, expertly thickened by synthetic fatty acid calcium soap.
Performance characteristics
(1) The unique interaction between calcium soap and water results in hydrates, essential for forming highly dispersed fibers in mineral oil. However, these hydrates begin to hydrolyze at approximately 100 ºC, causing a gradual loss of consistency beyond this temperature. As a result, calcium base grease is recommended for use at temperatures not exceeding 60 ºC to ensure reliable lubrication, as temperatures above this threshold may cause the grease to soften or even degrade, compromising lubrication efficacy.
(2) Renowned for its excellent water resistance, calcium base grease resists emulsification and degradation even in aqueous environments. This makes it an ideal lubricant for various mechanical components that operate in wet conditions or come into contact with water.
(3) The grease exhibits outstanding shearing stability and thixotropy. When stirred and later allowed to settle, the grease remains on the operational surface, providing a sealing effect without being thrown off.
(4) The short fibers and low strength limit of calcium base grease contribute to its remarkable pumping performance. This attribute enhances its ability to adhere more effectively than other soap-based greases, such as those based on sodium or aluminum soaps.
When produced with the same mineral oil and consistency, calcium-based grease offers greater bindability compared to other soap-based greases, including sodium-based and aluminum-based alternatives.
Despite its origins tracing back to the 1930s, calcium-based grease remains a globally prevalent choice today. It's optimal for lubricating rolling and sliding bearings operating at medium speed and load, commonly found in small and medium-sized motors, water pumps, tractors, automobiles, as well as in industries like metallurgy and textile machinery.

We are a professional grease manufacturer with 30 years of industry experience. Our factory is located in Puyang City, Henan Province.
2. What is the L/T?
The lead time will be roughly 10 days after deposit payment if you place an order of one container once.
3. What is your terms of payment?
Based on our sales policy, L/C or T/T 30% as deposit should be paid before order, and 70% balance payment should be completed before shipment. We can provide you with real photos or video of the goods before balance payment.
4. What is your terms of delivery?
It will be available in EXW, FOB, CFR or CIF.
5. What is the packaging for the grease?
Generally, packed with barrel, PE bag, can, spring tube or drum in different size, that depends on your final requirement.
6. Can I get some samples from your side?
