CPC Calcined Petroleum Coke Crafted through the meticulous process of placing premium raw 'green' petroleum coke into rotary kilns, the material undergoes heating.
to temperatures ranging from 1200 to 1350 degrees Celsius (2192
to 2460 degrees Fahrenheit). These elevated temperatures effectively eliminate excess moisture, expel all residual hydrocarbons, and alter the crystalline structure of the coke. The end result is a denser, and more electrically conductive product. Within hours, the calcined petroleum coke is brought down from 1350 degrees Celsius to below 200 degrees Celsius, allowing it to be safely handled and ready for transportation to storage silos or directly shipped in containers, trucks, railcars, barges, or vessels.
