Premium Calcined Petroleum Coke
This exceptional product is manufactured by processing superior-quality raw 'green' petroleum coke in rotary kilns, where it undergoes an intense heating process at precise temperatures ranging from 1200
to 1350 degrees C (2192 to 2460 F). These elevated temperatures are crucial for effectively eliminating excess moisture and extracting all residual hydrocarbons, while
altering the crystalline structure of the coke. This transformation results in a more compacted, electrically conductive product. In mere hours,
the calcined petroleum coke is skillfully cooled from 1350 degrees C to a manageable temperature below 200 degrees C, ensuring safe handling and
allowing for seamless transportation to storage facilities or direct loading into shipping containers, trucks, railcars, barges, or vessels.
----The pivotal applications of calcined petroleum coke include the production of prebaked anodes and anode pastes for electrolytic aluminum, serving as carbonizers in the carbon industry, forming graphite electrodes, smelting industrial silicon, and acting as fuels.
----Beyond its primary role in the aluminum industry, calcined petroleum coke is a significant contributor in the steel industry, where it is employed as a recarburizing agent. Additionally, it plays a vital role in the creation of titanium dioxide, a fundamental pigment used in paints, plastics, sunscreens, and food colorings.

Calcined Petroleum Coke is primarily utilized in metallurgy & foundry. It enhances the carbon content in steel melting and casting, allowing for increased scrap steel use and reduced pig iron need, sometimes eliminating the use of scrap iron entirely.
