CPCCalcined Petroleum Coke Our Premium Calcined Petroleum Coke is meticulously crafted by placing high-quality raw "green" petroleum coke into sophisticated rotary kilns, where it undergoes a transformative heating process.
Subjected to temperatures ranging from 1200 to 1350 degrees Celsius (2192 to 2460 degrees Fahrenheit), the petroleum coke is refined
under these intense conditions. This process effectively removes excess moisture and extracts all remaining hydrocarbons, fundamentally altering the crystalline structure of the coke to yield a denser, more electrically conductive product. Within a few hours, the calcined petroleum coke is cooled from a blazing 1350 degrees Celsius to a manageable 200 degrees Celsius, making it ready for safe handling and transport. From here, it can be efficiently stored in silos or shipped directly via containers, trucks, railcars, barges, or vessels.
