Calcined Petroleum Coke
Our Premium Calcined Petroleum Coke is meticulously crafted by placing superior quality raw 'green' petroleum coke into state-of-the-art rotary kilns. These kilns heat the coke to impressive temperatures ranging from 1200
to 1350 degrees Celsius (2192 to 2460 degrees Fahrenheit). Such extreme heat treatments effectively eliminate excess moisture, extract all residual hydrocarbons, and
transform the crystalline structure of the coke. This process results in a denser, more electrically conductive product. Within just a few hours,
the calcined petroleum coke is rapidly cooled from 1350 degrees C to below 200 degrees C, rendering it safe for handling and
ready for transportation to storage silos. It can also be directly loaded into shipping containers, trucks, railcars, barges, or vessels for efficient distribution.
----The primary applications of calcined petroleum coke include the production of prebaked anodes and anode pastes essential for electrolytic aluminum processes. It is also vital for carbonizers in the carbon industry, graphite electrodes, smelting industrial silicon, and as a fuel source.
