Crafted with superior precision, our Calcined Petroleum Coke is produced by meticulously heating premium-grade raw "green" petroleum coke in rotary kilns.
Subjected to intense temperatures ranging from 1200 to 1350 degrees C (2192 to 2460 F), this process effectively eliminates excess moisture and eradicates residual hydrocarbons,
while transforming the crystalline structure of the coke. The result is a denser, highly electrically conductive substance, perfected within mere hours.
Once calcination is complete, the coke is rapidly cooled from 1350 degrees C to a manageable 200 degrees C, ensuring safe handling and
easy transportation to storage silos or direct shipping via containers, trucks, railcars, barges, or vessels.
----The primary applications of calcined petroleum coke include its use in prebaked anodes and anode pastes essential for electrolytic aluminum processes, carbonizers for the carbon industry, graphite electrodes, and as a fuel in smelting industrial silicon.
