Introduction:
Calcium Base Grease is a premium lubricant crafted from medium viscosity mineral oil, elegantly thickened by natural fatty acid calcium soap. This grease is expertly synthesized for enhanced performance.
Skillfully produced with medium viscosity mineral lubricating oil, it is thickened by synthetic fatty acid calcium soap for optimal application.
Performance Characteristics
(1) Discover the superior properties of calcium soap, which forms hydrates with water. It creates highly dispersed fibers in mineral oil, but note that at around 100 ºC, these hydrates hydrolyze. As the temperature surpasses 100 ºC, the calcium base grease begins to lose consistency, thus limiting its operational temperature range to below 60 ºC. Exceeding this temperature may lead to softening or loss of the grease, impacting lubrication reliability.
(2) Enjoy exceptional water resistance with calcium base grease, which maintains integrity and avoids emulsification even in wet conditions. Ideal for lubricating mechanical parts exposed to moisture or water.
(3) Experience outstanding shearing stability and thixotropy stability with calcium base grease. It remains effective on action surfaces, maintaining a sealing effect without dispersing, even after agitation.
(4) Benefit from excellent pumping performance due to the short fibers and low strength limit of calcium base grease. It binds more easily than other soap-based greases (e.g., sodium- or aluminum-based) using equivalent mineral oil and consistency.
This characteristic makes calcium-based grease a preferred choice for binding applications.
Despite its origins in the 1930s, calcium-based grease remains a globally favored lubricant today. 1. Are you a trading company or manufacturer?
We are a professional grease manufacturer with 30 years of industry experience. Our factory is located in Puyang City, Henan Province.
2. What is the L/T?
The lead time will be roughly 10 days after deposit payment if you place an order of one container once.
3. What is your terms of payment?
Based on our sales policy, L/C or T/T 30% as deposit should be paid before order, and 70% balance payment should be completed before shipment. We can provide you with real photos or video of the goods before balance payment.
4. What is your terms of delivery?
It will be available in EXW, FOB, CFR or CIF.
5. What is the packaging for the grease?
Generally, packed with barrel, PE bag, can, spring tube or drum in different size, that depends on your final requirement.
6. Can I get some samples from your side?
We can provide free samples, the freight cost will be born by you.
7. Is it possible to do ODM or OEM for us?
We would like to do so. Let us know your definite requirements including grease color and dropping point etc. If necessary, provide us with your samples, that will be helpful for us to do test.
