Introduction:

Calcium base grease is crafted from medium viscosity mineral lubricating oil, skillfully thickened with natural fatty acid calcium soap, and this remarkable calcium base grease is synthesized
This exceptional grease is produced from medium viscosity mineral lubricating oil, meticulously thickened with synthetic fatty acid calcium soap.
Performance Characteristics

(1) Ingeniously combining calcium soap with water to form hydrates, only as hydrates can calcium soap create highly dispersed fibers in mineral oil. However, the hydrates of calcium soap begin to hydrolyze at approximately 100 ºC, leading to a gradual loss of grease consistency above this temperature. Consequently, the operational temperature range is typically restricted to below 60 ºC. Exceeding this threshold can soften or even dissipate the grease, compromising its lubrication efficacy.

(2) Boasting excellent water resistance, calcium base grease is robust against emulsification and degradation when exposed to water. It serves as a reliable lubricant for various mechanical components in moist environments or when in contact with water.

(3) Noteworthy for its superior shearing and thixotropic stability, this grease maintains its presence on operational surfaces even after agitation, creating a sealing effect that prevents grease throw-off.

(4) With commendable pumping performance attributed to its short fiber and low strength limit, calcium-based grease offers ease of binding in comparison to other soap-based greases (such as sodium-based or aluminum-based), when the same mineral oil and consistency are used.
