Calcium base grease is expertly crafted from medium viscosity mineral lubricating oil, meticulously thickened by naturally sourced fatty acid calcium soap, resulting in a superior calcium base grease.
This exceptional grease harnesses the power of medium viscosity mineral lubricating oil, enhanced and thickened by synthetic fatty acid calcium soap for exceptional performance.
Performance Characteristics
(1) The unique blend of calcium soap and water creates hydrates, crucial for forming highly dispersed fibers in mineral oil. However, the hydrates begin to hydrolyze around 100 ºC, causing the calcium base grease to lose its consistency above this temperature. Generally, it remains effective below 60 ºC, beyond which the grease may soften or degrade, compromising its lubricating capability.
(2) Renowned for its remarkable water resistance, calcium base grease resists emulsification and degradation when exposed to water, making it ideal for lubricating mechanical components in wet environments.
(3) Boasting excellent shearing and thixotropic stability, calcium base grease maintains its presence on surfaces even when subjected to agitation, ensuring consistent sealing without dislodgement.
(4) With its short fiber structure and low strength limit, calcium base grease exhibits superior pumpability. Compared to other soap-based greases, it binds more easily, providing efficiency and reliability.
Utilizing similar mineral oils and achieving the same consistency, calcium-based grease demonstrates ease of binding over alternatives such as sodium-based or aluminum-based greases.
Though originating in the 1930s, calcium-based grease remains a staple globally. It's the preferred choice for lubricating rolling and sliding bearings in small to medium-sized motors, water pumps, tractors, automobiles, and various machinery across industries such as metallurgy and textiles.

1. Are you a trading company or manufacturer?
We are a professional grease manufacturer with 30 years of industry experience. Our factory is located in Puyang City, Henan Province.
2. What is the L/T?
The lead time will be roughly 10 days after deposit payment if you place an order of one container once.
3. What is your terms of payment?
Based on our sales policy, L/C or T/T 30% as deposit should be paid before order, and 70% balance payment should be completed before shipment. We can provide you with real photos or video of the goods before balance payment.
4. What is your terms of delivery?
It will be available in EXW, FOB, CFR or CIF.
5. What is the packaging for the grease?
Generally, packed with barrel, PE bag, can, spring tube or drum in different size, that depends on your final requirement.
6. Can I get some samples from your side?
We can provide free samples, the freight cost will be born by you.
7. Is it possible to do ODM or OEM for us?
