Introduction:
Calcium base grease is crafted from mineral lubricating oil with a medium viscosity, enriched by natural fatty acid calcium soap. This calcium base grease is expertly synthesized
by combining mineral lubricating oil of medium viscosity with synthetic fatty acid calcium soap, ensuring superior performance.
Performance characteristics
(1) Thanks to its unique composition, calcium soap forms hydrates with water, allowing it to create highly dispersed fibers within mineral oil only in the hydrate form. However, these hydrates hydrolyze around 100 ºC, which explains the gradual loss of consistency above this temperature, thus restricting the usable temperature range of calcium base grease. Typically, it operates best below 60 ºC. Exceeding this temperature can cause the grease to soften or degrade, compromising its lubricating properties.
(2) Calcium base grease excels in water resistance, resisting emulsification and degradation even when exposed to water. This makes it ideal for lubricating various mechanical parts that operate in moist environments or come into contact with water.
(3) The grease offers remarkable shearing stability and thixotropy stability. It retains its form on active surfaces, providing a sealing effect without dispersing, even after agitation.
(4) With its low strength limit and short fiber structure, calcium base grease boasts excellent pumping performance. Compared to other soap-based greases like sodium or aluminum-based types, it binds more effectively when using the same mineral oil and
achieving the same consistency. This makes calcium-based grease a preferred choice for many applications.
Despite being an older variety since the 1930s, calcium-based grease remains a globally favored lubricant. It is perfectly suited for lubricating rolling and sliding bearings with medium speed and load in small and medium-sized motors, water pumps, tractors, automobiles, as well as in sectors like metallurgy and textile machinery.

1. Are you a trading company or manufacturer?
We are a professional grease manufacturer with 30 years of industry experience. Our factory is located in Puyang City, Henan Province.
2. What is the L/T?
The lead time will be roughly 10 days after deposit payment if you place an order of one container once.
3. What is your terms of payment?
Based on our sales policy, L/C or T/T 30% as deposit should be paid before order, and 70% balance payment should be completed before shipment. We can provide you with real photos or video of the goods before balance payment.
4. What is your terms of delivery?
It will be available in EXW, FOB, CFR or CIF.
5. What is the packaging for the grease?
Generally, packed with barrel, PE bag, can, spring tube or drum in different size, that depends on your final requirement.
6. Can I get some samples from your side?
We can provide free samples, the freight cost will be born by you.
7. Is it possible to do ODM or OEM for us?
We would like to do so. Let us know your definite requirements including grease color and dropping point etc. If necessary, provide us with your samples, that will be helpful for us to do test.
