CPCCalcined Petroleum Coke Our Premium Calcined Petroleum Coke (CPC) is meticulously crafted by placing high-quality raw 'green' petroleum coke into state-of-the-art rotary kilns, where it undergoes a rigorous heating process.
This intricate procedure exposes the coke to temperatures ranging from 1200°C to 1350°C (2192°F to 2460°F).
Such extreme heat effectively eliminates moisture, purges residual hydrocarbons, and enhances the crystalline structure of the coke. The result is a significantly denser, more electrically conductive product. Within mere hours, the calcined petroleum coke is cooled from its peak temperature of 1350°C to below 200°C, ensuring it is safe for handling and ready for prompt transport to storage silos or direct shipment via containers, trucks, railcars, barges, or vessels.
