Calcium Base Grease This exceptional grease is crafted from mineral lubricating oil of medium viscosity, ingeniously thickened by natural fatty acid calcium soap. Through an intricate synthesis process, it results in a superior calcium base grease.
It is created using mineral lubricating oil of medium viscosity, expertly thickened with synthetic fatty acid calcium soap.
Performance Characteristics
(1) Thanks to the formation of hydrates between calcium soap and water, calcium soap achieves a finely dispersed fibrous state within mineral oil. Upon reaching approximately 100 ºC, these hydrates hydrolyze, gradually diminishing the consistency of the calcium base grease beyond this temperature. Thus, its effective temperature is generally limited to 60 ºC. Exceeding this threshold may result in the grease becoming overly soft or dissipating, compromising lubrication quality.
(2) The grease boasts excellent water resistance, maintaining stability without emulsifying or deteriorating even when exposed to water. It is ideal for lubricating mechanical parts in wet or water-contact environments.
(3) It demonstrates outstanding shearing and thixotropy stability, maintaining adherence to surfaces even when agitated, thus providing a sealing effect that prevents dispersal.
(4) Offering superior pumping performance due to its short fiber and low strength limit, calcium-based grease is more easily bound than other soap-based greases, such as sodium or aluminum-based alternatives.
This ease of binding, combined with the same mineral oil and consistency, sets it apart.
Despite originating in the 1930s, calcium-based grease remains one of the most extensively utilized greases worldwide. It is well-suited for lubricating rolling and sliding bearings in medium-speed and load applications across diverse sectors such as small and medium-sized motors, water pumps, tractors, automobiles, metallurgy, and textile machinery.

1. Are you a trading company or manufacturer?
We are a professional grease manufacturer with 30 years of industry experience. Our factory is located in Puyang City, Henan Province.
2. What is the L/T?
The lead time will be roughly 10 days after deposit payment if you place an order of one container once.
3. What is your terms of payment?
Based on our sales policy, L/C or T/T 30% as deposit should be paid before order, and 70% balance payment should be completed before shipment. We can provide you with real photos or video of the goods before balance payment.
4. What is your terms of delivery?
It will be available in EXW, FOB, CFR or CIF.
5. What is the packaging for the grease?
Generally, packed with barrel, PE bag, can, spring tube or drum in different size, that depends on your final requirement.
6. Can I get some samples from your side?
We can provide free samples, the freight cost will be born by you.
7. Is it possible to do ODM or OEM for us?
We would like to do so. Let us know your definite requirements including grease color and dropping point etc. If necessary, provide us with your samples, that will be helpful for us to do test.
