Calcined Petroleum Coke

Our calcined petroleum coke is meticulously crafted by introducing premium quality raw 'green' petroleum coke into specialized rotary kilns. Here, it undergoes a transformation under intense heat, ranging from a scorching 1200

to 1350 degrees Celsius (2192 to 2460 degrees Fahrenheit). Such high-temperature treatment eradicates excess moisture, purges residual hydrocarbons, and

transforms the coke's crystalline structure, creating a denser material that boasts superior electrical conductivity. This remarkable metamorphosis occurs in just hours,

resulting in calcined petroleum coke being rapidly cooled from 1350 degrees Celsius to below 200 degrees Celsius, making it safe to handle and

transportable to storage silos or directly dispatched into shipping containers, trucks, railcars, barges, or vessels seamlessly.



----The primary applications of calcined petroleum coke are in prebaked anodes and anode pastes for electrolytic aluminum producers, carbonizers within the carbon industry, graphite electrodes, industrial silicon smelting, and as an efficient fuel source.
