Introduction:
Calcium base grease is a superior blend of mineral lubricating oil, boasting medium viscosity, and is expertly thickened using natural fatty acid calcium soap. This calcium base grease is meticulously synthesized for optimal performance.
This product is crafted from mineral lubricating oil with medium viscosity, expertly thickened with synthetic fatty acid calcium soap for enhanced performance.
Performance Characteristics
(1) Due to the unique ability of calcium soap to form hydrates with water, it generates highly dispersed fibers within mineral oil only as hydrates. These hydrates begin to hydrolyze at approximately 100 ºC, which explains why calcium base grease loses its consistency above this temperature, limiting its effective temperature range. Typically, it operates best at temperatures below 60 ºC. Exceeding this limit causes the grease to soften or degrade, compromising lubrication.
(2) Renowned for its excellent water resistance, calcium base grease resists emulsification and degradation when exposed to water. It is thus ideal for lubricating various mechanical components in moist environments or when in contact with water.
(3) With remarkable shearing and thixotropy stability, calcium base grease maintains its position on surfaces even after agitation, ensuring sealing efficacy and preventing throw-off during use.
(4) Thanks to its short fibers and low strength threshold, calcium base grease demonstrates superior pumping performance. It binds more easily compared to other soap-based greases, such as sodium or aluminum-based, when using similar mineral oil and attaining the same consistency.
Its ease of binding makes it preferable over other grease types.
Despite originating in the 1930s, calcium-based grease remains a globally popular choice. It is widely used for lubricating rolling and sliding bearings under medium speed and load conditions in equipment like small to medium-sized motors, water pumps, tractors, automobiles, metallurgy, and textile machinery.

We are a professional grease manufacturer with 30 years of industry experience. Our factory is located in Puyang City, Henan Province.
2. What is the L/T?
The lead time will be roughly 10 days after deposit payment if you place an order of one container once.
3. What is your terms of payment?
Based on our sales policy, L/C or T/T 30% as deposit should be paid before order, and 70% balance payment should be completed before shipment. We can provide you with real photos or video of the goods before balance payment.
4. What is your terms of delivery?
It will be available in EXW, FOB, CFR or CIF.
5. What is the packaging for the grease?
Generally, packed with barrel, PE bag, can, spring tube or drum in different size, that depends on your final requirement.
6. Can I get some samples from your side?
We can provide free samples, the freight cost will be born by you.
7. Is it possible to do ODM or OEM for us?
We would like to do so. Let us know your definite requirements including grease color and dropping point etc. If necessary, provide us with your samples, that will be helpful for us to do test.
