Crafted through an innovative process, Calcined Petroleum Coke begins with premium raw 'green' petroleum coke. This material is meticulously placed into advanced rotary kilns, where it's exposed to extraordinarily high temperatures ranging from 1200 degrees Celsius,
up to an intense 1350 degrees Celsius (2192 to 2460 Fahrenheit). These soaring temperatures proficiently eliminate excess moisture, eradicate all residual hydrocarbons,
and transform the crystalline structure of the coke. The result is a denser, more electrically conductive product, perfected within mere hours.
Once the calcination process is complete, the petroleum coke is expertly cooled from a scorching 1350 degrees Celsius to a safe, manageable temperature below 200 degrees Celsius, ensuring it is ready for handling and
efficient transportation. It can then be securely stored in silos or conveniently loaded directly into shipping containers, trucks, railcars, barges, or vessels for prompt distribution.
----The primary applications of calcined petroleum coke include serving as prebaked anodes and anode pastes integral to the electrolytic aluminum industry, acting as carbonizers within the carbon sector, forming graphite electrodes, aiding the smelting of industrial silicon, and functioning as fuel.
