Crafted by placing superior quality raw 'green' petroleum coke into state-of-the-art rotary kilns, the substance is meticulously heated to temperatures between 1200
and 1350 degrees Celsius (2192 to 2460 Fahrenheit). These extreme temperatures not only eliminate all excess moisture but also extract any remaining hydrocarbons and
transform the crystalline structure of the coke. This meticulous process results in a denser, more electrically conductive product, achieved in mere hours.
Following the calcination process, the coke is rapidly cooled from 1350 degrees Celsius to a manageable 200 degrees Celsius, ensuring it is safe for handling and
transportation. It can then be efficiently moved to storage silos or directly loaded into shipping containers, trucks, railcars, barges, or vessels.
