Product Description

Introduction:

Calcium base grease is meticulously formulated from mineral lubricating oil with medium viscosity, expertly thickened using natural fatty acid calcium soap. This classical calcium base grease is synthesized to meet industry demands.
Crafted from mineral lubricating oil with medium viscosity, it is enriched with synthetic fatty acid calcium soap to ensure superior performance under demanding conditions.
Performance Characteristics

(1) Due to its unique composition, calcium soap forms hydrates with water. These hydrates allow calcium soap to create highly dispersed fibers within mineral oil. However, the hydrates decompose at approximately 100 ºC, leading to a gradual loss of consistency in calcium base grease beyond this temperature. As a result, its optimal operating temperature is generally limited to no more than 60 ºC. Exceeding this temperature causes the grease to soften or even disintegrate, compromising lubrication integrity.

(2) This grease boasts remarkable water resistance, maintaining its structure without emulsifying or degrading when exposed to moisture. It is ideal for lubricating various mechanical components in damp environments or those in direct contact with water.

(3) Exhibiting excellent shearing stability and thixotropic properties, calcium base grease retains its position on operational surfaces even after agitation. This ensures a consistent sealing effect, preventing dispersion.

(4) With exceptional pumping performance, attributed to its short fibers and low strength threshold, it offers ease of application. When matched for consistency with other grease types,

calcium-based grease surpasses its counterparts, such as sodium or aluminum-based greases, in binding efficiency.
Despite its origins dating back to the 1930s, calcium-based grease remains a globally preferred choice. It is perfect for lubricating rolling and sliding bearings in medium-speed, medium-load applications, prevalent in small to medium-sized motors, water pumps, tractors, automobiles, metallurgy, and textile machinery.
