CPCCalcined Petroleum Coke Our premium Calcined Petroleum Coke is meticulously produced by placing top-grade raw 'green' petroleum coke into advanced rotary kilns, where it undergoes intense heating.
These kilns reach temperatures between 1200 to 1350 degrees Celsius (2192 to 2460 Fahrenheit).
The intense heat serves to eliminate excess moisture, extract residual hydrocarbons, and alter the coke's crystalline structure, resulting in a denser, more electrically conductive material. Within hours, the Calcined Petroleum Coke is cooled from 1350 degrees Celsius to below 200 degrees Celsius, allowing it to be safely managed and transported to storage silos or shipped directly via containers, railcars, trucks, barges, or vessels.
