Introduction:
Calcium base grease is a superior lubricant crafted from mineral oil with medium viscosity, thickened by natural fatty acid calcium soap. Its synthesis process ensures exceptional performance.
This reliable grease is also formulated with synthetic fatty acid calcium soap to enhance its overall quality.
Performance Characteristics
(1) Due to the unique interaction between calcium soap and water, calcium soap forms hydrates. These hydrates create a network of finely dispersed fibers in mineral oil. However, the hydrates hydrolyze at around 100 ºC, which impacts the grease's consistency. Therefore, the optimal temperature for calcium base grease is generally below 60 ºC. Beyond this, the grease may soften or lose its lubricative properties, limiting high-temperature applications.
(2) With excellent water resistance, calcium base grease resists emulsification and degradation in wet conditions. It provides unrivaled lubrication for mechanical parts exposed to moisture or water contact.
(3) Its remarkable shearing and thixotropic stability ensure that the grease adheres effectively to surfaces, creating a seal without displacement even after agitation.
(4) The grease's short fiber structure and low strength limit enhance its pumping efficiency, making it easier to handle than other soap-based greases, such as those made from sodium or aluminum.
Calcium-based grease offers superior binding properties, making it a preferred choice over sodium-based or aluminum-based greases when using the same mineral oil and consistency.
Despite being developed in the 1930s, calcium-based grease remains a popular choice globally. It effectively lubricates rolling and sliding bearings in medium-speed, medium-load applications like small and medium motors, water pumps, tractors, automobiles, metallurgy machinery, and textiles.

We are a professional grease manufacturer with 30 years of industry experience. Our factory is located in Puyang City, Henan Province.
2. What is the L/T?
The lead time will be roughly 10 days after deposit payment if you place an order of one container once.
3. What is your terms of payment?
Based on our sales policy, L/C or T/T 30% as deposit should be paid before order, and 70% balance payment should be completed before shipment. We can provide you with real photos or video of the goods before balance payment.
4. What is your terms of delivery?
It will be available in EXW, FOB, CFR or CIF.
5. What is the packaging for the grease?
Generally, packed with barrel, PE bag, can, spring tube or drum in different size, that depends on your final requirement.
6. Can I get some samples from your side?
We can provide free samples, the freight cost will be born by you.
7. Is it possible to do ODM or OEM for us?
We would like to do so. Let us know your definite requirements including grease color and dropping point etc. If necessary, provide us with your samples, that will be helpful for us to do test.
