Calcined Petroleum Coke
Created from high-quality raw 'green' petroleum coke, this superior product undergoes a transformative process in rotary kilns. Heated to a precise range of 1200 to 1350 degrees Celsius (2192 to 2460 degrees Fahrenheit), the petroleum coke begins its journey to excellence.
At these elevated temperatures, excess moisture is eradicated, and any remaining hydrocarbons are meticulously extracted.
This intense heat treatment modifies the crystalline structure, resulting in a denser and significantly more electrically conductive coke.
In just a few short hours, the calcined petroleum coke is cooled from a blazing 1350 degrees Celsius to a manageable 200 degrees Celsius, ensuring safe handling.
Once cooled, it is ready for transport to storage silos or directly into shipping containers, trucks, railcars, barges, or vessels for global distribution.
