This carbon block, having undergone a thorough roasting process, retains a stable geometric form, earning it the designation of a pre-baked anode carbon block. It is also recognized as a carbon anode crucial for aluminum electrolysis.
The pre-baked anode stands as a cornerstone among the primary raw materials crucial for electrolytic aluminum production. Astonishingly, to produce just 1 ton of electrolytic aluminum, approximately 0.5 ton of this vital anode is consumed. Serving not only as the conductive anode of the electrolytic cell but also playing a vital role in the electrochemical reaction, it is affectionately dubbed the 'Heart' of the pre-baked aluminum electrolytic cell.
