Calcium Base Grease is expertly crafted from mineral lubricating oil with a medium viscosity, meticulously thickened by natural fatty acid calcium soap, leading to the synthesis of calcium base grease.
This remarkable product is derived from mineral lubricating oil of medium viscosity, thickened with synthetic fatty acid calcium soap.
Performance Characteristics
(1) The unique interaction between calcium soap and water forms hydrates, which are essential for calcium soap to develop highly dispersed fibers within mineral oil. These hydrates begin to hydrolyze around 100 ºC, causing calcium base grease to gradually lose its consistency beyond this temperature. As a result, the operational temperature range is typically limited to a maximum of 60 ºC. Surpassing this threshold may cause the grease to soften or even be lost, compromising lubrication quality.
(2) Known for its excellent water resistance, calcium base grease resists emulsification and degradation when exposed to water. It serves as an ideal lubricant for various mechanical components operating in moist environments or those frequently in contact with water.
(3) Exhibiting superior shearing stability and thixotropy, calcium base grease maintains its presence on the operational surface even after agitation, providing a sealing effect and ensuring it stays in place.
(4) With a short fiber structure and a low strength limit, calcium base grease demonstrates outstanding pumping performance. It is easier to bind than other soap-based greases, such as sodium-based or aluminum-based variants, when using the same mineral oil and achieving the same consistency.
This advantage makes calcium-based grease a preferred choice.
Despite its origins dating back to the 1930s, calcium-based grease remains a prevalent choice globally. It effectively lubricates rolling and sliding bearings in various applications, including medium-speed and load scenarios in small to medium-sized motors, water pumps, tractors, automobiles, and machinery in metallurgy and textiles.

2. What is the L/T?
The lead time will be roughly 10 days after deposit payment if you place an order of one container once.
3. What is your terms of payment?
Based on our sales policy, L/C or T/T 30% as deposit should be paid before order, and 70% balance payment should be completed before shipment. We can provide you with real photos or video of the goods before balance payment.
4. What is your terms of delivery?
It will be available in EXW, FOB, CFR or CIF.
5. What is the packaging for the grease?
Generally, packed with barrel, PE bag, can, spring tube or drum in different size, that depends on your final requirement.
6. Can I get some samples from your side?
We can provide free samples, the freight cost will be born by you.
7. Is it possible to do ODM or OEM for us?
We would like to do so. Let us know your definite requirements including grease color and dropping point etc. If necessary, provide us with your samples, that will be helpful for us to do test.
