Calcium base grease is crafted from mineral lubricating oil with a medium viscosity, uniquely thickened by natural fatty acid calcium soap. This innovative calcium base grease is synthesized to offer optimal performance.
This exceptional product is formulated from mineral lubricating oil with medium viscosity, thickened by synthetic fatty acid calcium soap, ensuring superior quality and performance.
Performance Characteristics
(1) The unique interplay between calcium soap and water forms hydrates, allowing calcium soap to create highly dispersed fibers only in hydrates form within mineral oil. However, these hydrates of calcium soap start hydrolyzing around 100 ºC, causing the calcium base grease to gradually lose its consistency above this temperature, restricting its usable temperature range to typically below 60 ºC. Exceeding this temperature may soften or even entirely compromise the grease's integrity, thus affecting lubrication capabilities.
(2) Renowned for its excellent water resistance, calcium base grease does not easily emulsify or deteriorate even when exposed to water. This makes it ideal for lubricating various mechanical parts operating in wet environments or in direct contact with water.
(3) Calcium base grease boasts outstanding shearing stability and thixotropy stability. Even after being agitated, when the grease is allowed to settle, it effectively remains on the action surface, providing a sealing effect without being displaced.
(4) Due to its short fiber and low strength limit, calcium base grease exhibits impressive pumping performance. When formulated with the same mineral oil and
achieving the same consistency, it is easier to bind than other soap-based greases, such as sodium-based or aluminum-based varieties.
Despite being an older variety originating in the 1930s, calcium-based grease remains a highly utilized option globally. It is ideal for lubricating rolling and sliding bearings operating under medium speed and load, applicable in small and medium-sized motors, water pumps, tractors, automobiles, metallurgy, textile machinery, and more.

1. Are you a trading company or manufacturer?
We are a professional grease manufacturer with 30 years of industry experience. Our factory is located in Puyang City, Henan Province.
2. What is the L/T?
The lead time will be roughly 10 days after deposit payment if you place an order of one container once.
3. What is your terms of payment?
Based on our sales policy, L/C or T/T 30% as deposit should be paid before order, and 70% balance payment should be completed before shipment. We can provide you with real photos or video of the goods before balance payment.
4. What is your terms of delivery?
It will be available in EXW, FOB, CFR or CIF.
5. What is the packaging for the grease?
Generally, packed with barrel, PE bag, can, spring tube or drum in different size, that depends on your final requirement.
6. Can I get some samples from your side?
We can provide free samples, the freight cost will be born by you.
7. Is it possible to do ODM or OEM for us?
We would like to do so. Let us know your definite requirements including grease color and dropping point etc. If necessary, provide us with your samples, that will be helpful for us to do test.
