Calcium Base Grease Our exceptional calcium base grease is crafted using mineral lubricating oil with a medium viscosity, expertly thickened with natural fatty acid calcium soap. This synthesis of calcium-based grease ensures superior performance.
This grease is meticulously formulated with mineral lubricating oil of medium viscosity, enhanced with synthetic fatty acid calcium soap, delivering optimal lubrication.
Performance Characteristics
(1) The unique interaction between calcium soap and water in the form of hydrates allows calcium soap to form highly dispersed fibers in mineral oil. However, the hydrates of calcium soap begin to hydrolyze at approximately 100 ºC, which is why calcium base grease starts to lose its consistency above 100 ºC, limiting its effective temperature range. For optimal performance, it is recommended to use below 60 ºC to maintain lubrication.
(2) Known for its excellent water resistance, calcium base grease resists emulsification and deterioration even when exposed to water. This makes it ideal for lubricating mechanical components in wet environments or where water exposure is frequent.
(3) This grease boasts remarkable shearing and thixotropic stability. Even after being agitated, it steadily adheres to surfaces, providing an effective sealing effect without splattering.
(4) The superior pumping performance of calcium base grease is attributed to its short fiber structure and low strength limit. When used with the same mineral oil,
and maintaining the same consistency, calcium-based grease binds more easily compared to other soap-based greases, like sodium or aluminum-based ones.
Despite being developed in the 1930s, calcium-based grease remains prevalent globally due to its reliability. It's suitable for lubricating rolling and sliding bearings in medium speed and load applications, such as in motors, water pumps, tractors, cars, metallurgical and textile machinery.

We are a professional grease manufacturer with 30 years of industry experience. Our factory is located in Puyang City, Henan Province.
2. What is the L/T?
The lead time will be roughly 10 days after deposit payment if you place an order of one container once.
3. What is your terms of payment?
Based on our sales policy, L/C or T/T 30% as deposit should be paid before order, and 70% balance payment should be completed before shipment. We can provide you with real photos or video of the goods before balance payment.
4. What is your terms of delivery?
It will be available in EXW, FOB, CFR or CIF.
5. What is the packaging for the grease?
Generally, packed with barrel, PE bag, can, spring tube or drum in different size, that depends on your final requirement.
6. Can I get some samples from your side?
We can provide free samples, the freight cost will be born by you.
7. Is it possible to do ODM or OEM for us?
We would like to do so. Let us know your definite requirements including grease color and dropping point etc. If necessary, provide us with your samples, that will be helpful for us to do test.
