Calcium base grease is ingeniously crafted using mineral lubricating oil with a medium viscosity, thickened by calcium soap derived from natural fatty acids. The synthesis of calcium base grease is truly remarkable.
This exceptional grease is formulated using mineral lubricating oil of medium viscosity, artfully thickened by synthetic fatty acid calcium soap.
Performance Characteristics
(1) The magic of calcium soap lies in its ability to form hydrates with water, leading to highly dispersed fibers in mineral oil. However, these hydrates hydrolyze at temperatures around 100 ºC, causing a gradual loss of consistency above this temperature. Therefore, calcium base grease is typically limited to temperatures not exceeding 60 ºC. Beyond this threshold, it may soften or even completely disintegrate, compromising lubrication effectiveness.
(2) Renowned for its superior water resistance, calcium base grease is remarkably resilient, resisting emulsification and deterioration even in aqueous environments. It ensures reliable lubrication of various mechanical components exposed to moisture or water contact.
(3) Boasting impressive shearing stability and thixotropy, calcium base grease maintains its presence on the contact surfaces even after being agitated, creating a seal that prevents dispersion.
(4) With excellent pumping capabilities due to its short fiber structure and low strength limit, calcium base grease offers greater ease of use compared to other soap-based greases when achieving the same consistency using identical mineral oils.
Its binding efficiency surpasses that of other grease types, such as sodium-based or aluminum-based alternatives.
Despite its origins dating back to the 1930s, calcium-based grease remains widely used globally. It effectively lubricates rolling and sliding bearings under medium speed and load conditions in small to medium-sized motors, water pumps, tractors, automobiles, metallurgy, and textile machinery.

1. Are you a trading company or manufacturer?
We are a professional grease manufacturer with 30 years of industry experience. Our factory is located in Puyang City, Henan Province.
2. What is the L/T?
The lead time will be roughly 10 days after deposit payment if you place an order of one container once.
3. What is your terms of payment?
Based on our sales policy, L/C or T/T 30% as deposit should be paid before order, and 70% balance payment should be completed before shipment. We can provide you with real photos or video of the goods before balance payment.
4. What is your terms of delivery?
It will be available in EXW, FOB, CFR or CIF.
5. What is the packaging for the grease?
Generally, packed with barrel, PE bag, can, spring tube or drum in different size, that depends on your final requirement.
6. Can I get some samples from your side?
We can provide free samples, the freight cost will be born by you.
7. Is it possible to do ODM or OEM for us?
We would like to do so. Let us know your definite requirements including grease color and dropping point etc. If necessary, provide us with your samples, that will be helpful for us to do test.
