to 1350 degrees C (2192 to 2460 F). These elevated temperatures are crucial for eliminating excess moisture, efficiently extracting any residual hydrocarbons, and
altering the coke's crystalline structure. This results in the creation of a denser, more electrically conductive product, a feat achieved in mere hours.
Post-calcination, the petroleum coke is rapidly cooled from a staggering 1350 degrees C to a manageable sub-200 degrees C, ensuring it is secure for handling and
ready for transportation. The material can then be transferred to storage silos or dispatched directly via shipping containers, trucks, railcars, barges, or vessels.
