Calcined Petroleum Coke
This superior product is meticulously crafted by placing premium raw 'green' petroleum coke into state-of-the-art rotary kilns. Within these kilns, the material is subjected to intense temperatures ranging from 1200
to 1350 degrees C (2192 to 2460 F). Such extreme heat effectively eliminates excess moisture, eradicates any remaining hydrocarbons, and
transforms the crystalline structure of the coke. This process results in a denser, more electrically conductive product. Within a span of hours,
calcined petroleum coke undergoes rapid cooling from 1350 degrees C to a manageable 200 degrees C, making it safe to handle and
ready for transport. It is then seamlessly moved to storage silos or directly loaded into shipping containers, trucks, railcars, barges, or vessels for distribution.
