The Main Purpose of Coke:

1. Serving as the bedrock of coking, over 90% of coke production is allocated to blast furnace ironmaking in numerous countries. By supplanting charcoal in iron smelting, coke has revolutionized the modern-day large blast furnace foundation, representing a significant epoch in metallurgy history.

2. Coke is indispensable in the smelting of copper, lead, zinc, titanium, antimony, and other non-ferrous metals. It functions as a reducing agent, a source of heat, and provides structural support within blast furnaces.
